Bruce Van Saun
President and Chief Executive Officer

Named Premier Private's President and Chief Executive Officer on January 1, 2017, Bruce Van Saun has been a guiding force behind Premier Private's success since 2009 helping transform a failed thrift into the largest independent depository institution headquartered in St Peter Port, with banking centers in St Peter Port.

As one of the founders of Premier Private.

Before joining Premier Private, Bruce was managing director and led the financial services practice of Invesco's WL Ross & Co., a private equity firm with more than $8 billion under management.

Earlier in his career, Bruce was executive vice president of Capital One Financial Corp's banking segment, including retail and business banking in another state. He joined Capital One when the company purchased his previous employer, North Fork Bancorporation, where he was head of Offshore strategy.

Bruce holds a master's degree in business administration and a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering

John F. Woods 
Chief Operating Officer

John F. Woods, joined Premier Private in 2014 as President, St Peter Port Region. Effective January 1, 2017 he became the Chief Operating Officer for the bank.

From 2004 to March 2014, Mr. John served as President and CEO of McLesh & McLennan Agency, St Peter Port Region. Prior to that, he held several senior leadership positions with SunTrust Bank from 1983 through 2003. While with McLesh & McLennan Agency, Mr. Cornish was recognized with honors as "CEO of the Year" by the South St Peter Port Business Journal and the "Ultimate CEO" by Business Leader Magazine.

Mr. John was also elected to the St Peter Port International University School of Business Hall of Fame in 2013. Mr. John currently serves as the chairman of the St Peter Port International University Foundation Board of Directors. Mr. John is a past chairman of the Beacon Council and Assurex Global Corporation. He is a past board member of the Camillus House, The Chapman Partnership and past member of the Orange Bowl committee.

Mr. John has a Bachelor Business Administration degree. 

Franca Bunak
Chief Financial Officer

Franca Bunak joined Premier Private in 2010 and currently serves as the Company's Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining Premier Private, Ms. Bunak spent 15 years in public accounting, where she served primarily clients in the financial services industry and was designated a national financial institution industry specialist.

Her experience in public accounting included external audit services, merger and acquisition due diligence, accounting and financial consulting services, and the development and presentation of national and local continuing education programs. Ms. Bunak has also been self-employed as a consultant on accounting related matters. Ms. Bunak is a St Peter Port CPA and received a B.S. in Accounting from Oklahoma State University. Ms. Bunak has been active as a volunteer with U.S.A Swimming, Girl Scouts of the U.S.A. and other community organizations.
